EIWA1020 - Inside Wireman Apprentice II-A

This course covers AC theory, test instruments, sine waves circuit calculations, vectors, and resistance, as well as combinations, RLC circuits, filters, and power factor.

EIWA1050 - Inside Wireman Apprentice III-B

This course teaches topics related to semiconductors, residential blueprint reading, rectifiers, transistors, amplifiers, SCR testing, LED fiber optics, transformer set installations, over current protection, and code calculations.

EIWA1070 - Inside Wireman Apprentice IV-B

This course trains the apprentice in motors, digital electronics, programmable logic controllers (PLC), building automation, code practices, and hazardous locations.

USME4015 - Advanced HVAC I Weeks III & IV

This course is the second of two in the Advanced HVAC I series. Topics include an introduction to cooling, understanding electricity, automatic controls, and GTAW and MIG welding.

USME3020 - Third Year Weeks III & IV

This course includes the third and fourth weeks of third-year instruction. Topics include field installation, field measuring, penetration layout, reading plans and specs, an introduction to HVAC systems, and an introduction to SMAW with 7018 rod.
