EIWA1010 - Inside Wireman Apprentice I-B

This course teaches topics including DC Theory, Ohm’s Law, circuits, resistance, voltage, and test instruments, as well as residential blueprint reading and electrical symbols.

EIWA1020 - Inside Wireman Apprentice II-A

This course covers AC theory, test instruments, sine waves circuit calculations, vectors, and resistance, as well as combinations, RLC circuits, filters, and power factor.

EIWA1030 - Inside Wireman Apprentice II-B

This course teaches topics related to test instruments, blueprint reading skills, codeology, conduit bending, transformers, code practices, wiring methods, specification skills and National Electrical Code (NEC) reading.

EIWA1040 - Inside Wireman Apprentice III-A

This course covers GFCI, fuse brakes, over current devices, electrical safety work practices, grounding and bonding, the National Electrical Code (NEC), ground faults, short circuits on GFCI’s, and lightning protection.

USME4020 - Advanced HVAC II Weeks I & II

This course is the first of two in the Advanced HVAC II series. Topics include load calculation and duct design, duct leakage testing, cooling, and brazing and soldering.

USME1010 - First Year Weeks I & II

This course includes the first and second weeks of first-year instruction. Topics include apprenticeship history and organization, first aid/CPR, reading plans & specs, and aerial lift and forklift safety certifications.
