ELAP2020 - Electrical IIA
This course will evaluate basic Trigonometry, as related to right triangles and alternating current (AC) theory. This course will discuss single and three-phase AC power systems, inductance, capacitance, reactance, and power factor and power correction. This course will review direct current (DC) theory; to include, but not limited to DC power sources, such as batteries, solar, etc. This course will begin a more comprehensive analysis of National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements. This course will cover single and three-phase transformer theory and calculations.

ELAP3020 - Electrical IIIA
This course will introduce commercial electrical plan reading and applications and procedures required for commercial and industrial wiring as they pertain to the National Electrical Code (NEC). This course will evaluate grounding and bonding of electrical systems per NEC requirements. This course will also look at low voltage systems and their requirements that are described in the NEC.

ELAP4020 - Electrical IVA
This course will study the basic skills necessary for becoming crew leader and managing electrical hazards. This course will discuss load calculations, healthcare facilities, standby and emergency systems, fire alarm systems, specialty transformers, advanced controls and motors, conductor terminations and splices, and special locations while meeting National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.

PLAP1210 - Plumber Apprentice II-A
This course covers how to size water supply systems, prevent backflow, intermediate math skills for calculating offsets and water pressure, proper installation and venting of water heaters, and the applicable International Plumbing Code (IPC).

PLAP2310 - Plumber Apprentice III-A
This course covers how to determine quality and weights of materials, how to select alternate materials, formulas for solving 45-degree constants and offsets, repair techniques on existing systems, and the applicable International Plumbing Code.

PLAP2410 - Plumber Apprentice IV-A
This course reviews learned skills and covers preparation for the state plumbing journey level licensing exam.
