This light-duty vehicle emissions course, is designed to give automotive technicians a complete understanding of vehicle emission pollutants, emissions system component identification, emissions related repairs, and other information.

EIWA1020 - Inside Wireman Apprentice II-A

This course covers AC theory, test instruments, sine waves circuit calculations, vectors, and resistance, as well as combinations, RLC circuits, filters, and power factor.

EIWA1030 - Inside Wireman Apprentice II-B

This course teaches topics related to test instruments, blueprint reading skills, codeology, conduit bending, transformers, code practices, wiring methods, specification skills and National Electrical Code (NEC) reading.

EIWA1040 - Inside Wireman Apprentice III-A

This course covers GFCI, fuse brakes, over current devices, electrical safety work practices, grounding and bonding, the National Electrical Code (NEC), ground faults, short circuits on GFCI’s, and lightning protection.

EIWA1060 - Inside Wireman Apprentice IV-A

This course teaches lightning protection, motors, motor controls, and hands-on motor training.

ETTA1000 - Telecommunications Apprentice I-A

This course covers topics related to the first-year instruction such as electrical theory (DC), components, and test equipment, as well as blueprint, job preparedness, fiber optics, electrical math, the National Electrical Code (NEC), safety, wiring, tools, and data.

USME2010 - Second Year Weeks I & II

This course includes the first and second weeks of second-year instruction. Topics include reading plans and specs, an introduction to Oxy-fuel Cutting, welding SMAW, and drafting pictorial drawings.

USME3010 - Third Year Weeks I & II

This course includes the first and second weeks of third-year instruction. Topics include advanced layout and pattern development, GMAW welding stainless steel and black iron, drafting detailed projects, and reading plans and specs.
