EIWA1000 - Inside Wireman Apprentice I-A
This course covers introductory topics such as safety, proper job conduct, DC theory, electrical tools, and GFCI functions, as well as electrical math and topics related to fall safety, wire, conduit bending, conductors, and code devices. Students taking this course will obtain their American Red Cross CPR/First Aid Certification.

This course teaches topics including DC Theory, Ohm’s Law, circuits, resistance, voltage, and test instruments, as well as residential blueprint reading and electrical symbols.

This course teaches topics related to test instruments, blueprint reading skills, codeology, conduit bending, transformers, code practices, wiring methods, specification skills and National Electrical Code (NEC) reading.

This course teaches topics related to semiconductors, residential blueprint reading, rectifiers, transistors, amplifiers, SCR testing, LED fiber optics, transformer set installations, over current protection, and code calculations.

This course trains the apprentice in motors, digital electronics, programmable logic controllers (PLC), building automation, code practices, and hazardous locations.

This course is the second course related to first-year instruction and covers topics such as electrical theory (DC), components, and test equipment, as well as blueprint, job preparedness, fiber optics, electrical math, the National Electrical Code (NEC), safety, wiring, tools, and data.

This course covers topics related to the third-year instruction for telecommunication apprentices, including CCTV, customer relations, electronic test equipment, electronic theory, electronic troubleshooting, industry and job information, protocols, video distribution, and wide area networks. This course also includes instruction on systems such as building automation systems, life safety systems, nurse call systems, RF systems, sound systems, entertainment systems, environmental systems, television systems, and systems analysis repair and certification.
